Zac Brown Band to Perform at the John Deere Classic

Multi-Platinum, multi-GRAMMY Award-winning Southern rock band Zac Brown Band will perform at this year’s John Deere Classic, continuing the tournament’s highly successful Concerts on Course series, which debuted in 2023.

Zac Brown Band will perform at the conclusion of the tournament on Sunday, July 6, at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, tournament officials announced Tuesday. Tickets will go on sale in April at johndeereclassic.com.

“The John Deere Classic is very excited to announce that Zac Brown Band will perform after we crown a champion at this year’s tournament,” said tournament director Andrew Lehman. “This is a group that has shown incredible staying power since it debuted in 2010 and is famous for its outstanding live performances. Once again, this year is going to be a weekend of great golf, great music and enjoyment for our fans.”

Longtime tournament sponsor John Deere pioneered the Concert on Course series.

“When we introduced Concerts on Course two years ago, John Deere’s goal was to expand the appeal of the John Deere Classic beyond that of traditional golf fans and introduce other elements of the Quad Cities community to the tournament and the beautiful setting of TPC Deere Run,” said Mara Downing, Vice President, Global Brand and Communications. “We think Zac Brown Band is going to help us achieve that goal again this year.”

Another performance will be scheduled for Saturday, July 5, in keeping with the Concerts on Course weekend format, officials said.

The performance is scheduled to take place along the 18th fairway at approximately 5:45 p.m., a short time after golf concludes, as it did last year, Lehman said. Fans will be seated on the hillside to golfer’s right of the fairway across from the stage.  Fans can expect various concert related experience enhancements to this year’s concerts.

The 54th edition of the Quad Cities’ PGA Tour event will be played the week of July 2-6 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis with Davis Thompson as defending champion and a purse of $8.4 million.

The John Deere Classic, which includes Birdies for Charity, is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization located in the John Deere Classic tournament offices at 15623 Coaltown Road, East Moline, Illinois.  Since its founding in 1971, the tournament has helped raise more than $189.6 million for charity.
