The John Deere Classic Bonus Fund promises all participating Birdies for Charity organizations a bonus check of at least 5% (we’ve done as much as 10% in the past). So… not only do the participating charities receive 100% of their pledges thanks to John Deere covering the administrative fees for the program, but each organization gets a 5-10% bonus just for participating! Last year, it took almost $1 million to deliver an 8% match to 470 local and regional charities. In 2022, we are estimating it will take well over $1 million to complete our promise of delivering above the 5% mark. This is where YOU come in.

2022 is our second year of our Giving Week initiative, which focuses on educating the public on the Bonus Fund as well a raising funds for 500+ participating charities with food fundraisers, giveaways, a blood drive and so much more! Giving Week will be celebrated May 20 – 25 and all proceeds will be directed to the Bonus Fund. We will have a number of events and specials that will be happening during the week so be sure to check the schedule of events below to see how you can help #ChipIn! Donations can be anywhere from $1 to $10,000 – every dollar truly does help. A donation to the Bonus Fund helps support all the local charities that you care about. They depend heavily on this bonus each year and our hope is to deliver well above the 5% promise again in 2022. Thank you for your support of the tournament and the Bonus Fund!
