Over the month of July, Rhythm City Casino Resort was collecting donations for The John Deere Classic’s Birdies for Charity. As part of our Donate & Play promotion, guests donated money for the cause and were given free play at the casino. In all our guests helped raise $30,255 for Birdies for Charity to add to their total that they raised during the John Deere Classic. We are thrilled to have the chance to partner with such a great organization that helps out so many member of the community.

Since 1971 the John Deere Classic has delivered over $133 million to regional charities, most of it through its innovative Birdies for Charity program. No other event on the PGA TOUR does it better - and it’s the generous and hardworking nature of this area that makes it happen.

JDC Tournament Director, Clair Peterson says, ““All of us at the John Deere Classic are humbled by this donation to our Bonus Fund by Rhythm City Casino.  It represents the single largest donation we received in 2021 and will help us meet, and possibly exceed, our promise to deliver a 5% bonus to every one of our nearly 500 participating charities.  We can’t thank them enough.”

Mo Hyder, General Manager of Rhythm City Casino Resort said, “"Rhythm City Casino is very excited to raise over $30,000 for Birdies for Charity.  The John Deere Classic is a very important event for the Quad Cities Region and we are very happy to support it!"
