Impact of charity on the community:
Celebrating its 105th year, the Moline Rotary Club lives by the Rotary motto, "Service Above Self" through a variety of community strengthening initiatives, including:
- Partnering with the Moline Public Library to host author visits for 2nd and 5th graders in the Moline-CV School District
- Volunteer staffing of the 18th Hole at the John Deere Classic
- Providing a dictionary to each 3rd grader in the school district
- Offering grants to area non-profits and scholarships to students
- Hosting community clean-up days, bell ringing for the Salvation Army, Race for the Cure Water Station, hats and mittens drive for area schools, and much more.
