Impact of charity on the community:

At Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, we're changing the world one pint at a time. We team up with volunteer blood donors and community partners to provide more than 300,000 blood products to patients at 96 hospitals, including all hospitals in the Quad Cities area. 

MVRBC will direct contributions made through Birdies for Charity to our Life$avings grant program, which provides funds to our education partners who host blood drives. The grants are used to help defray costs associated with blood drives, to support charitable initiatives, and for educational purposes within the school. The Life$avings Grant Program is an important tool to help educate students about the importance of our lifesaving mission and the opportunity it provides to change the world.
