Mission: The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Impact of charity on the community:

• Attaining employment can be very difficult for women living in poverty, especially if they are single-mothers or come from challenging circumstances (e.g. homelessness, domestic violence, or post-incarceration).
• After job-training, vocational guidance or rehabilitation is complete and they have a job interview scheduled, women are referred by our non-profit partners for free suits, shoes and accessories. They also receive interview coaching and resume reviews.
• Upon employment, we provide a second suiting and access to job-retention focused professional development programs to build both skills AND confidence -- to help women get a job, keep a job, and grow a career.
• One woman's success is multiplied as her children, employer, neighborhood and local businesses all benefit from her rising income and transition from dependence to economic independence.
