TPC Deere Run Celebrates 20th Year as Site of the John Deere Classic By Ashley Hansen | 20 May, 2019

​This year’s John Deere Classic will be played at TPC Deere Run for the 20th consecutive time in the 49-year history of the Quad Cities’ PGA Tour event. The rolling 7,268-yard Par 71 layout first hosted the John Deere Classic shortly after the course opened in the year 2000, when rookie Michael Clark II won the event on the fourth hole of a two-man playoff with Kirk Triplett.

Michael Kim to Defend at John Deere Classic By Ashley Hansen | 20 May, 2019

Michael Kim, who won the John Deere Classic in record fashion last year, will be back to defend his title July 8-14 at TPC Deere Run. Kim, who shot a tournament record 27-under par 257 and won by a record eight shots, will be trying to win his second PGA Tour event when he returns to the Quad Cities this summer.

Country music star Dustin Lynch will be the latest in a string of country artists to perform in concert during the week of the John Deere Classic to help raise money for the Birdies for Charity Bonus Fund. The 32-year-old Nashville singer-songwriter and his band are scheduled to entertain fans on Wednesday, July 10, at the Rust Belt, a recently-opened concert venue in East Moline.
